Taking initial inspiration from the 18th Century, my collection Vanity explores the idea of how women of that era were expected to do little other than look beautiful and how this idea is still present in today’s society. Women are expected to be beautiful however they mustn’t acknowledge it - lest be considered vain, an undesirable quality.

Fashion design is all Elise has wanted to do since she was little. Receiving her acceptance into the fashion design course at QUT is still one of her proudest achievements. She has always loved the glamourous and luxurious high end of the industry with dreams of one day working in that area.
